MEMBERSHIP IN THE CCPOA OF IOWA, INC.

Membership in the CCPOA is provided for as follows in the Association ByLaws. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Association, please fill out the request below for a membership application form. A form will be emailed to you - please fill it out completely and return to the address indicated with the required dues payment. At this time, our annual dues are $15.00/year.
ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP & DUES
Section 1 - Regular Membership. Any person who subscribes to the purpose of this Association and meets the following requirements shall qualify for membership. Those requirements shall be:
a. That the employee be a paid, full time employee of a County Conservation Board in Iowa
b. That the person be appointed as a Peace Officer by the employing Conservation Board
c. That the person remit the annual dues as established by the Association
Section 2 - Honorary Membership. May be bestowed upon individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the profession. Honorary Membership may be granted by action of the CCPOA Executive Committee. Honorary Members are exempt from the payment of dues.
Section 3 - Associate Membership. Individuals who do not meet the requirements to secure a regular membership as outlined above may apply for an Associate Membership. An Associate Member shall have all the benefits of a regular member, and may attend any and all non‐restricted training. The Associate Member classification shall be required to pay annual dues. Approval of an Associate Membership shall require a positive vote of the CCPOA Executive Committee.
